Abstract

This bachelor thesis is about the design and implementation of a new access control system. The system consists of a mobile application and a base station running on a microcontroller. Communication between devices is made using Bluetooth technology and, in the case of mobile devices, using QR codes. The system operates offline using digital signatures with the possibility of administration and access time limitation, where the microcontroller obtains current time via WiFi using an NTP server. For data storage, NVS is used on the microcontroller and secure store on mobile devices.
