Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the study of foundry stresses in cast iron type ICDP intended for casting of working layer of centrifugally cast cylinders. The casting of the lattice test specimens for cracking and cracking was evaluated for their failure rate after casting. The degree of shrinkage and consequently the structural and mechanical properties of the test castings were evaluated. The theoretical part deals with the mechanism of cracks and cracks in castings. The experimental part describes the production process, the method of measuring the shrinkage rate and the evaluation of the failure of the test castings. The measurement results are compared with both solidification and stress simulations in the test specimendocumentation, designed by Mr. Schneider, who subsequently modified Bradík, stress measurement and metallographic cuts, which helped us to evaluate the results
