Možnosti zpracování směsného komunálního odpadu po roce 2024

Abstract

Based on the amendment 229/2014 Coll. of act 185/2001 Coll. "On Wastes and on Amendments to Certain Other Acts", the landfilling of mixed municipal waste is prohibited from 2024 in the Czech Republic. The bachelor thesis is focused on the description of other possibilities of municipal mixed waste processing, which is mainly deposited in landfills within the Czech Republic. The key to finding alternative methods was to identify other commonly used ways of handling mixed municipal waste within the Czech Republic and the European Union. Individual methods including landfilling are described in the text. In the final part of the thesis, there is a selection of possible alternatives for the processing of mixed municipal waste originating mainly from the production of the city of Ostrava and its surrounding area, where this waste is currently deposited in the landfill body.
