The topic of this masters thesis the design of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for a shopping center with a grocery store located in Ostrava. The heating will be provided by two air-to-water heat pumps, with backup ensured by two electric boilers. Ventilation will be handled by an air handling unit and rooftop fans. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part focuses on the preparation of project documentation for the construction phase, specifically tailored to the requirements of building services engineering (TZB), while adhering to all relevant regulations and standards. The second part addresses building environmental technology, encompassing the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning of the facility. Additionally, the thesis includes a thermal technical assessment of all building structures, a calculation of heat losses, and the development of an energy performance certificate for the building.
