Strategická analýza lokality

Abstract

The topic of the master thesis is „Strategic Analysis of a Locality“ aimed on the city of Olomouc. The main goal of this thesis is to lay the groundwork for identifying the main opportunities and threats for the development of the city's tourism and to find ways to exploit opportunities and take actions to eliminate threats at the same time. The first part includes the theoretical basis drawn from special literature, which are subsequently used in the practical part. This is followed by an analysis of the current state of the city and PEST Analysis of the external environment extended by international factors. In the third part, in Analysis of opportunities and threats, the evaluation is done, key opportunities and threats are identified, and suggestions and recommendations for future urban development in the tourism sector are listed. Author expects that the lessons learned from this thesis present the city of Olomouc one possible approach to tourism and provide useful information on options for future development.
