Abstract

This bachelor work focuses on the electricity trade. The goal of this work is to describe in detail the electricity trade in the Czech Republic and the risk factors influencing this trade. Further, the organizational structure of particular types of the trade as well as their course and specific features are analysed. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on the business rules on Power Exchange Central Europe (previously Energetická burza Praha). Important part of this charter is the characteristic of types of contacts which are dealt on the exchange. In the practical part is the analysis and evaluation of electricity trade in the Czech Republic in 2008. Factors which influence the price of electricity as well as the development of the oil and natural gass price.
