Abstract

The main part of this thesis deals with configurable timer, which can be embedded into existing electrical wiring. The user can easily choose the times for the timer using a single button. Solution is routed to the the use of the microcontroller in conjunction with the electronics in the three voltage levels and with the smallest possible own energy consumption. It is possible to switch a general load using a relay output. The thesis also presents a comparison of products that can be purchased on the market today with similar characteristics. Work complements the system overview Smat-Home, which are suitable for retrofitting. These are primarily wireless solutions.
