Abstract

The thesis is focused on the production and use of compost. The present work is formulated so as to understand the topic and emphasize its importance. The work is divided into several chapters. In each chapter you will be able to learn about why people nowadays compost, what can be the benefits of composting. Also you can read about what happens during composting progress. The main and most extensive chapter is devoted to composting Pitterling in northwestern Bohemia. In this chapter, you can read not only about the history of composting, but also the composting process and machinery.
