Posouzení existenčních a rozvojových možností konkrétní firmy

Abstract

The topic of this thesis is “Assessment of Existential and Development Prospects of a Particular Firm”.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the viability of the particular firm by selected methods. Based on the applied methods there are identified strengths and areas of the firm, in which improvement could occur. There are also introduced recommendations for the further potential development of the firm.

The thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction. The second chapter describes the characteristics of the particular firm, which was chosen for elaboration of this thesis. In this part of the thesis there are introduced the business activities of the firm, its structure, personnel, customers, economic situation or its problems.

The third chapter is devoted to the methodological background of the thesis. It contains, inter alia, more detailed introduction and description in of the key EFQM method, which was chosen to solve the existing problem. As an additional method there are used questionnaires and interviews methods.

The fourth chapter discusses the application of the EFQM method in the particular firm. Based on the analysis there are drawn strengths and areas where improvement could occur.

The fifth chapter is devoted to suggestions and recommendations to the subsistence and development capabilities of the firm. The sixth chapter is an overall conclusion.
