Abstract

This thesis called „The creation of electric bus charging station project documentation“ aims to propose a design of a charging station including a kiosk substation. The charging stations are designed for 5 buses; two of them are fast-charging stations with the power output of 173 kW and there are five more stations with the power output of 44 kW. The thesis also includes a draft of a kiosk substation that features a transformer with the power output of 630 kVA. The thesis is divided into 5 parts. The first part deals with project design and current legislation. The second part is dedicated to available charging methods and the description of substation types. The third part delineates a concrete concept of charging stations. The fourth part includes a complete project documentation with the calculations required for a safe and reliable operation. The final part of this thesis focuses on the calculation of investment costs related to the implementation of this construction project based on the project documentation.
