Analýza návštěvnosti utkání hokejového klubu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis analyzes attendance of the ice hockey club HC Vítkovice Steel. The theoretical part provides information about the club and the general situation in ice hockey. The main areas of the thesis are history of ice hockey, club history, HC Vitkovice Steel Inc. company structure, club facilities, teams and competitions system, fans, ticket prices, competition and promotion of the club. Moreover, the thesis describes general market definition and its measurement along with the characteristic of sports market. The practical part consists of individual traffic analysis of the home matches of the club. The main objective was to determine which factors have the greatest impact on traffic. In the thesis, several factors of attendance are identified. This thesis could serve as a basis for a subsequent in-depth analysis.
