Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the appraisal system of employees in educational institution. The aim is to adjust the current system of employee appraisal and propose possible changes for improvement. These changes are based on theoretical knowledge, analysis of the current state of employee evaluation system, survey and semi-structured interview. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part.
In the first part of the work the reader gets acquainted with the theoretical background of the employee evaluation process. The practical part provides information about the selected educational institution, which is the Elementary School in Šenov. The current system of employee evaluation will be described and evaluated based on survey and semi-structured inteview. The final part presents proposals for modification of the current system of employee evaluation, on the basis of theoretical knowledge, analysis of the current system of employee evaluation, questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview.
