Abstract

The main task of this thesis is to design A completion of a city block in the center of Ostrava. The Diploma paper is divided into an analytic and a synthetic part. The Analytical section describes the evolution of Moravian Ostrava mainly from its urban point of view and a its Linkage to the immediate vicinity of the urban block. The synthetic part is further divided into two sections. The first section is aimed at addressing problems in urban terms, Whose solutions can be 4 new possibilities for the completion of the territory. The last of these options is the starting point for an architectural part, which also falls Into the second section of the synthetic Part. a Planning Scheme of two buildings with similar functions Results from the urban design. One of them will serve as a student House and The Other One as a block of flats. A Layout Of a Look Of a Square which occurs among new houses and the building of the former municipal slaughterhouse is drawn up according to the architectural and urban solutions.
