Analýza bezpečnosti chodců na přechodech pro chodce v Ostravě

Abstract

The main aim of the work is the possibility of raising the level of security on pedestrial crossing. In the first part of my bachelor theses, I have discussed general issues concerning the security of the pedestrians on the crosswalks and also I have made an analysis on different types of crosswalks in the area of the Ostrava city, on which I have implemented and evaluated video-analysis of pedestrian behavior. At the end, the reader can find that the work also contains statistics of the results of the accident rates and suggestions for rating the security of the pedestrians on the chosen crosswalks.
