Abstract

This bachelor thesis was carried out during my special practice with Continental Automotive Systems Czech Republic s.r.o., where I focused on work with the module set by Beck processor SC23. The board was equipped with USB ports, serial line port (COM), SD card slot and others. My task was to get acquainted with all the necessary materials concerning the product and then to arrange for communication of peripheral devices connected by means of those ports. The work consists of several chapters. A short introduction is followed by a brief profile of the company, the set tasks and their accomplishment. The final chapters deal with the knowledge and skills acquired during my studies and employed in my practice with Continental Automotive Systems. In addition to that, there is general evaluation of the practice. The above mentioned module is to be used at the assembly line in the factory.
