Abstract
This bachelor thesis focuses on the control and regulation of heat pumps, which are currently a very interesting technology in the field of alternative sources for heating and cooling buildings. The aim of the thesis is to analyze current methods and procedures for controlling and regulation of heat pumps. The majority of the work primarily deals with air-to-water heat pumps.
The first chapters introduce the physical principles on which heat pumps are based, summarize various types of heat pumps, and also address issues regarding refrigerants.
In its second half, the thesis focuses mainly on the components of the heat pump and their possibilities of regulation. It also discusses the most important criteria and parameters to consider when regulating. Finally, a simple visualization of the operation of the air-to-water compressor heat pump is presented, accompanied by graphs.
