Extrakce surového kaprolaktamu

Abstract

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to verify the possibility of using mixed solvents in the refining process of extraction in the production of caprolactam and to make a design calculation of the extraction column for these solvents. The theoretical part summarizes the general information about caprolactam, trichlorethylene, and the chapters on the description of extraction, extraction columns, as well as the analytical methods used at work. The experimental part is devoted to determination of phase equilibrium using analytical methods such as refractometry, gas chromatography, and Karl - Fischer titration. The computational part summarizes the design calculation of the extraction column.
