Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the protection of the Slag treatment area of ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. by using elements of the physical protection. In the first part there are legislation and technical standards relating to the issue. In the next part there is theory in which are described and specified different types of the physical protection. Description of the Slag treatment area and its current protection are in the practical part of this thesis. This description continues by the analysis of security risks, which identify and evaluate potential insufficiencies of the physical protection of area. In the last part there are two innovative proposals for the area security by identified deficiencies.
