Abstract
The subject of my bachelor work is The Analysis of Advertising in Womens´ Magazines. I chose four titles edited by the biggest womens´ magazines publisher in the Czech Republic – Stratosféra Ltd.
The main objective of my work was to examine and describe the structure of advertising publicized in printed magazines in detail. The research was aimed for findings which products or services are offered and supported most often in printed magazines, in which format and what profits will the publisher gain for one sold printed copy. I also investigated the frequence in which the advertisements appeared in particular printed copies and if it was focused only on women.
First I distinguished the womens´ magazines market and then defined the problem of marketing communication. In the next chapter I specified the methodology of research which included preparation and implementation phase.
In the end the analysis of particular titles was made. The analysis involved The total estimation of gains from advertisements in one printed copy, The product aim of the advertisements in one printed copy, Earnings for the format of advertisement in one printed copy and The developement of the amount of advertisements in a year.
