Posouzení stability svahu skládky v Lačnově

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the slope stability in the northern part of Lačnov municipality (Vsetín district). This area has previously been classified as a landslide area. In 2015, the condition of the landslides deteriorated sharply. The main cause was the long-term slope loading with the municipal solid waste as well as soil from the construction of a nearby sewerage. The material parameters of municipal solid waste are difficult to determine, and their variability is considerable, as shown in this thesis. In order to assess the stability of two slopes, it was needed to study geological structure, hydrogeological conditions, and history of the landslide area. The landslides were measured by means of a total station. Furthermore, the samples have been taken in order to determine parameters of strength and deformability. Thickness of the layer of municipal solid waste has been determined by means of an electrical resistivity tomography. After processing and evaluation of these data, the models of slope have been created in Plaxis 2D software, and stability of the landslide area has been assessed. The sanitation measures have been proposed based on an analysis of all the factors involved.
