Abstract
The diploma thesis is focused on employee recruitment and selection in a specific organization and it aims to analyze the state of recruitment and selection of employees and basing on this analysis to create such suggestions and recommendations that would remedy the deficiencies in the process.
In the theoretical section is provided basic knowledge of recruitment and selection of employees. The main attention is paid to the various methods of recruitment, required skills, documents and the selection methods.
The practical part deals with the characteristics of the selected organization, there is analyzed the course of recruitment and selection processes using interview with personnel manager and employee’s opinion on this system was found through questionnaires.
In the final section, on the basis of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, courses of actions that would lead to correct the problems and shortcomings are recommended. Such recommendings should lead to more complex management process of employee recruitment and selection in a specific organization.
Result of this work is evaluation of how the issue is done in practise, reflection and possible suggestions for improvements from the perspective of the author.
