Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the testing of joints stressed on plain bending. The aim is to determine the behavior of the joint and to compare it with the calculation according to valid standards and numerical model. For testing, a beam of solid wood is used and the beam is adjusted by means of a solid wood panel and LVL laminate. Three types of connection are tested: glued joint, joint with screws and joint using a combination of glue and screws. The joints are tested by a four-point bend.
The conclusion of this work is devoted to summarizing, evaluating the obtained results and determining the bearing capacity of the individual types of tested joints. Part of the thesis is drawing and photographic documentation of joints.
