Abstract
The aim of this work is to propose a new methodology to conduct internal audits using the VDA standards which will be useful in various types of a small organizations. The theoretical part is focused on the issue of internal audits in quality management systems. Firstly there is an interpretation of some important concepts which are taken from the ČSN EN ISO 9000:2006. The following part is a description of the quality management system, his principles and concept. The next chapter is Audit, where are explained types of audit and their comparison, there are specified the audit objectives, benefits, participants and process. After that there is description of the function of the internal auditor and the ethical code. Firstly in the practical part there is introduction of organizations MSM Steel spol s.r.o. and KAVOPLYN s.r.o., their current process of internal audit and an analysis of the appropriateness and effectiveness of this process. The following part is the fundamental part of the work, which describes the newly developed methodology and the checklist related to it. In conclusion there is the evaluation of the benefits.
