Analýza interního využití a prodeje vysokopecní strusky a vyhodnocení jejich ekonomických efektů

Abstract

The thesis deals with sales analysis of blast furnace slag and its market potential. The aim of the work was to evaluate the economic potential of the furnace-slag sales and its market outlook. Based on information supplied from customers I have described the further business usage, the advantages and utilization of the blast-furnace slag in building and glass industry. The input data for the analysis covered the period 2007-2010 in reference to my cooperation with the Production and Sales Department of the steel company ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s. On the basis of the findings I have compared the sales results. The final analysis monitors the blast-furnace slag sales developments regarding quantity, price, receipts and costs. As a result some suggestions are given to improve sales activities.
