Abstract

The theme of the diploma thesis is proposition of the key performance indicators system for purchasing department in engineering enterprise. The diploma thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, purchasing process is characterized – which phases it is composed from, what factors are affected and give information about items which are related with purchasing process (supplier, inquiry etc.). Moreover, the theoretical part includes KPIs of purchasing process, what they are saying about and how to correctly create them. The practical part is focused on analyzing of KPIs which are used in purchasing department in selected engineering enterprise and proposal of new key performance indicators system for purchasing department in engineering enterprise or addition actual KPIs to make it more efficient purchasing process.
