Abstract

In my dissertation, my main focus is on specific engineering facilities and equipment for rescuing people from heights. The introductory chapter explains the elementary terminology. In the next section, I am describing the basic allocation of life saving techniques and the best selection of life saving methods. Legislation, which is essential for all these specific methods, is analyzed in the following chapter. In next chapter, I am focusing on allocation and characteristics of each individual facility, it’s tactical opportunities and usage. I am also providing examples of tactical and technological data. In the last two sections of my dissertation, I am concentrating on controls and concept of specific technical equipment for fire-fighting units, focusing on saving people from heights.
