Abstract
The aim of the thesis „Waste Management of the Šumperk Municipality“ is to evaluate the waste management of the Šumperk Municipality and on the basis of the obtained results to recommend potential suggestions for improvement. The theoretical section clarifies the general terms and elemental definitions of waste treatment. The practical part analyzes the overall security of waste management in Šumperk for a period of five years, then follow the results of the questionnaire survey carried out by the inhabitants of the town and there are defined proposals and recommendations to an improvement of the situation of this branch in the end.
