Abstract

This master’s thesis deals with the process of a development project on a brownfield area which was used as a motel in the past. This work is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part focuses on project financing of construction projects, the process of obtaining a bank loan, and the conditions of its drawing. The theoretical part also further describes facts that are closely related to the construction project. These are mainly the phases of construction projects, the structure of participants in these projects, project portfolio management, and also the analysis of the macro-environment and micro-environment. In the empirical part, a construction project is presented and processed. This part also analyses the internal and external environment, budget plan, and economic evaluation of the project.
