Kontrolní činnost obecních živnostenských úřadů

Abstract

My Bachelor thesis deals with trade inspection which is one of the key activities of local trade offices. The local trade offices may, together with many other inspection authorities, participate in the protection of mainly average consumers as our traders have not fully adopted business etiquette which has been a matter of course in western countries for a long time. Trade inspection may be executed only in compliance with valid legislation. As it is known our laws change very often therefore the law pursuant to which trade inspection is exercised is not an exception. That currently follows the Law No. 255/2012 Coll. to regulate inspection (inspection rules) which came into force on 1st January 2014 and which abolished the Law No. 552/1991 Coll. to regulate state inspection as amended according to which inspection was exercised over twenty years. Inspection bodies, their employees in the role of inspecting respectively, had to learn new work procedures. The meaning of this Bachelor thesis is not only to describe this activity but also evaluate current status and/or find opportunities for its improvement.
