Analýza makroekonomických ukazatelů zemí Visegrádské čtyřky po vstupu do Evropské unie

Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of selected macroeconomic indicators of the Visegrad Group countries after joining the European Union. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical aspects of economic integration, namely the definition, motives, methods and forms of economic integration. The chapter also specifies anti-integration forces. The second part of the thesis focuses on economic integration in empirical literature. Furthermore, this chapter describes the development of economies of individual Visegrad Group countries from the beginning of the transformation processes to the accession to the European Union. In the last part an analysis of selected basic macroeconomic indicators of the Visegrad Group countries is made. The analysis is did for the period 1996-2003 and the period 2004-2017. The results of the analysis show that the development of indicators for individual countries of the Visegrad Group differs after joining the European Union.
