Abstract

My diploma work deals with smoke and heat exhaust system in a high-rise residential building. It looks on high-rise residential building as an object, where is necessary to ensure firstly protection of human life and health in case of fire. The beginning of my work scrutinizes issues of burning and fire in its early phase. It means the time, when it is necessary to assure sufficient time to evacuate inhabitants. Next, it defines possibilities of protected escape path suggestions from the national and European standards point of view. It occupies also with requirements on their design and accessible possibilities of its calculations. The crucial part of my work comprises the suggestion of the calculation of air protected escape path by means of pressurized ventilation in continuity of adopted European standard. There is also designed fitting with basic components of air ventilation system and prepared outline of economic demands in accordance with adopted European standard demands.
