Abstract

NOVÁKOVÁ, Petra. Response of a Patient to Temporary Isolation in the Patient Isolation Unit. Bachelor thesis, Ostrava: VŠB – TU Ostrava, 2015. This bachelor thesis evaluates the physiological reaction of probands in the transport isolation unit. The work is divided into several parts. The first chapter describes situations when we usually use the transport isolation unit and its technical parameters. There are also presented Czech and foreign producers. In the second chapter measuring process and the climatic chamber in which the probands realized the testing are described. In conclusion measured values of probands, such as rectal temperature, heart rate and air velocity and temperature in the biobag are evaluated. The emphasis was put on personal subjective feelings of probands, during their stay in the transport isolation unit.
