Abstract

The aim of the thesis "The return of HE Investment” is to demonstrate the positive impact of investment in human capital and future financial income. This hypothesis is examined in own qualitative research in the form of case study. Thesis is theoretical-research character. The theoretical part is devoted to human capital and investment to education. In this part are described the costs and profits of education and motives of investing in human capital. Subsequently, attention is devoted to empirical research into human capital. In this section are defined approaches to measuring return of HE investment. The core of the application is the analysis of the results of the case study. The contribution of the thesis is an individual analysis of the costs and profits associated with studying in college.
