Potenciál Nového Města nad Metují v cestovním ruchu

Abstract

This thesis deals with the potential of tourism in the Down of Nové Město nad Metují and its surroundings. The aim of the thesis was to map the present-day situation, to make a and to SWOT analysis of the issue concerned, undertake a survey among tourists and its subsequent evaluation. From the information gained, measures for improving the present-day situation in tourism were suggested.

The first part of the thesis deals with tourism from general point of view, and serves as theoretical basis for the rest of the thesis. Further, the present-day situation is mapped, and necessary analyses are done. In the conclusion, the measures are divided between short and long run – according to the duration, demandingness, and financial aspect of the realization.

In the end, we can conclude, that the tourism in Nové Město nad Metují plays an important role not only in the economic income of people, but also in common life. The potential of tourism is good, however in the future the situation has to be improved, so that the town of Nové Město nad Metují will not lose tourists.
