Abstract
The bachelor’s thesis examines the possible substitutes of Portland cement and mixed cement for concrete used in highway constructions. It focuses on aggressive environment XF3 and XF4. Mixed cement consist slag fraction. Use of this type of cement reduces CO2 production and save the environment.
The theoretical part describes production, structure and properties of cement in the Czech Republic. It further describes hydrate reactions of cement and concrete solidification and properties of latent-hydraulic dashes.
The practical part describes testing of raw and indurate concrete according to test standarts in the Czech Republic. There were proposed and mixed four concrete dashes, which differed from type of cement, aggressive environment and resistence. Samples were made from each types of concrete, which were put to the tests and consequently compered with each other.
