Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the position of the waste collection charge and with the issue of waste management in the municipalities with extended competence in the Olomouc region. The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the position and development of the waste collection charge in the municipalities with extended competence in the Olomouc region from 2010 to 2017. The partial aim of this thesis is to evaluate the development of municipal waste production. The theoreticaly focused part mainly describes financial management and the waste management of municipalities. In the practical part the analysis of the development of the volume of municipal waste production is made. At the end the thesis deals with the development of the waste collection charge and evaluates its position in these municipalities in relation to the budget and in relation to the volume of municipal waste and its selected components.
