Vliv karbidů a chemického povlakování na životnost břitové destičky při obrábění nerezových ocelí

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the most widely used cutting material at this time – sintered carbide. The opening of thesis describes commonly used cutting materials, basic classification of sintered carbides, their application and chemical composition of particular carbide categories. Further thesis describes chemical coating as a cutting tip’s protection against damage, types of coating, PVD and CVD coating methods. The experimental part deals with determination of sintered carbide’s suitable type for cutting of stainless steel X8CrNiTi18-10, evaluation of tested cutting tip’s working life and comparison of cutting financial costs.
