Abstract

This thesis deals with the disputableness of database information system OFFIM, s. r. o. In the theoretical part, I focused on the basic concepts related to data modeling and procedures that are commonly applied in creating the data model. In the practical part I expanded the database and rationalized by a three level concept of data modeling and I proceed to deal with the description of individual functions and data flows within information system of the company.
