Využití bakterií Acidithiobacillus ferooxidans při bioloužení odpadů po těžbě stříbronosných rud v Krušných horách

Abstract

The diploma thesis is focused on obtaining selected metals from low-grade ores by an efficient and environmentally sound method - bacterial leaching. The mine waste from silver-bearing ores, specifically from two localities of interest in the Mikulov ore district in the Krušné hory, was bioleached. The acidophilic bacterium Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans was used for the experiments. The aim of the work was to obtain as much iron, copper and arsenic as possible from low metallic ores. Various additives were applied to the leach solution to increase the yield of the metals of interest.
