Role regionálních rozvojových agentur v regionálním rozvoji

Abstract

The target of my Bachelor Thesis is to ascertain the role of regional development agencies in regional development focused on Czech Republic. The initial chapter deals with regional development and with regional policy. The European Union's regional policy is dealt with here as well as information on the social and economic cohesion policy for the period of 2007 - 2013. The next part of the Thesis is focused on general characterization of regional development agencies. Legislative framework of regional development agencies in Czech Republic is demarcated here. The last chapter gets focused mainly on description of activities of the Regional Development Agency Ostrava. They are activities oriented to strategic planning and innovations as well as to education, business activities and tourism.
