Abstract
This Master´s thesis deals with measurement and analysis of kinematic actions in the car. Thesis describes possibilities of using of an accelerometer measurement in an automotive application, followed by analysis of measurement data.
The aim of thesis is solution of communication between microcontroller and accelerometer, including data transfer messages via I2C bus. The data are exported to the computer, where they are retrospectively analyzed.
The first measurement is performed for verification of measure of the tilt angle of the car. Following measurement is real data measurement of the car acceleration. The known physical laws are used to recalculate measured acceleration to other physical values. Analysis and recalculation of data is done with Matlab software.
