Abstract

The purpose of this dissertation is to design basement with appropriate remediation measures. Basement is damaged by both, the static pressure of the surrounding soil, and damp due to damaged waterproofing. Therefore the goal of this work is to propose such measures in order to be able to continue fully utilize the basement with the least possible disruption. The first problem is solved by using the HeliBeam system that statically reinforces the whole structure. The second issue was removed by pressure grouting. Part of the dissertation is a schedule that establishes time table for both parts of the remedy process. Part of this schedule is also the financial cost based on the selected model object.
