Abstract
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to identify and evaluate benefits and failures in selected partner states related to European Neighbourhood Policy accession. Partial aim is to compare the results in these states and evaluace EU financial assistance effectivenes.
The theoretical part is focused on description of EU external relations, European Neighbourhood Policy and their aims, instruments a funding.
The practical part of diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of Egypt and Ukraine´s political, economic and social progress. Finally the progress in bouth countries is compared.
