Abstract

The thesis deals with the analysis of the purchasing process management in Aisan Industry Czech, s. r. o. The thesis includes the characteristics of the selected company and then the explanation of the basic concepts of purchasing management. The following part is devoted to the economic performance of the company for the period 2018 to 2021 presented by tables and graphs. This section also focuses on the function and position of the purchasing department in the company, as well as the methods of supplier evaluation, the selection of a suitable supplier. In the next part, an analysis of the purchased material according to the ABC and XYZ methods, an analysis of the supplier's evaluation and an analysis of extraordinary transport costs are carried out. The analysed areas are concluded with suggestions and recommendations. The thesis concludes with a summary of all the findings.
