Abstract

The thesis evaluates the current state of availability of the Fire and Rescue Service of Olomouc Region´s heavy rescue equipment and the deployment of the AV-15 Wrecker. The first section offers an overview of the number and placement of the rescue equipment in the Olomouc region and statistical evaluation of its deployment. The second section deals in detail with the AV-15 Wrecker, including an evaluation of its potential use in different climatic and terrain conditions. The third section summarizes all the costs associated with this vehicle. The last section evaluates its possibilities of deployment for heavy vehicle rescue.
