Abstract

This bachelor thesis contains a report describing my individual professional practice at SHB, akciová společnost from September 2019 to May 2020 and is divided into two parts.

The first part is about a project that deals with a lighting of a bike path and locally a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians in the southern part of Ostrava alongside the streets Františka Formana and Jana Škody. The second part deals with a design of public lighting of the proposed bypass of Hlučín and the adjacent shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians.

In addition to working on these projects where I practically tried the thinking of an engineer, I also gained an insight into the operation of a design office and confirmed the fact that for the work of a designer, it is not enough to have just the knowledge in their own field, but also at least marginal knowledge from other fields related to the projects.
