Možnosti povrchové úpravy uměleckých odlitků

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na možnosti povrchových úprav bronzových odlitků, se zaměřením na technologie patinování. Teoretická část práce je věnována problematice vývoje nástěnného umění od pravěku po období baroka, vývoji barokního dekoru a historii tapet a obkladových materiálů. Dále se pak teoretická část práce zaměřuje na technologii povrchových úprav. Těchto poznatků je následně využito v praktické části. V praktické části je popsána výroba zkušebních a finálních bronzových odlitků s reliéfem inspirovaným barokním textilním dekorem. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo zjistit možnostmi patinování uměleckých odlitků z bronzu se zaměřením na pět patin, u kterých je popsána jejich příprava, způsob aplikace a možnosti použití. Tyto pokusy jsou prováděny na zkušebních odlitcích a výsledky této práce jsou prezentovány na třech finálních odlitcích.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the possibilities of surface treatment of bronze castings, with a focus on patination technologies. The theoretical part is devoted to the development of wall art from prehistory to the Baroque period, the development of Baroque decor and the history of wallpaper and tiling materials. Furthermore, the theoretical part of the work focuses on the technology of surface treatment. This knowledge is then used in the practical part. The practical part describes the production of test and final bronze castings with relief inspired by Baroque textile decor. The main goal of this work was to find out the possibilities of patination of artistic bronze castings with a focus on five patinas, for which their preparation, method of application and possibilities of their usage are described. These experiments are performed on test castings and the results of this work are presented on three final castings.
