Abstract

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the static design and structural solution of the load-bearing system of a multi-storey apartment building near the city of Ostrava. The building is designed as a six-storey building with a combined structural system, consisting of brick walls made of ceramic blocks and monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling slabs. The thesis contains a technical description of the building, load analysis according to applicable standards and the creation of a spatial calculation model in the SCIA Engineer software. The main part is the dimensioning and assessment of selected load-bearing elements - ceiling slab, column, balcony console with an integrated element for thermal bridge interruption and brick walls. Static calculations from the numerical model are supplemented by analytical manual calculations. The thesis also includes the relevant drawing documentation of the reinforced elements.
