Abstract

The thesis covers buildings founded by special foundation methods. The choice of methods is always based on the analysis of the engineeringgeological conditions of the given area. The vital part of the whole analysis is setting its engineering-geological parameters. Thus, every study is based on a geological description of the given area, possibly on its natural circumstances. The analysis of findings then leads to setting the foundation in the given area. The next step is the choice of special foundation technology (or combination of special foundation techologies). The final part of the study is a brief evaluation of all the accumulated information and its transformation into a graphic form of a type cut. Tle closing part of the thesis is devoted to the methodology and benefits of these analyses.
