Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the hygienic problems of factors such as noise and dust in Radim Janosec wood working environment. The environment is characterized by the presence of risks that have a negative impact on workers' health. The main risks include the risk of noise and dust. Since these are serious risks, the employer needs to take the necessary measures to protect the health of workers. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to find out, using the results of measurements of noise, dust and vibrations in the working environment of woodworking where workers work, whether the employer has taken all measures to protect workers' health and thereby improve working conditions. The measurements were carried out at Radim Janosek wood production company based in Ostravice. The necessary data and information was obtained by observing, interviewing the owner of the company, studying professional literature and elaborating the test protocols prepared by the Regional Hygiene Station based in Opava and subsequently in Ostrava. Within the research part, I have set three basic questions, which I tried to answer during my diploma thesis. Research questions • Do the OHS elements be observed in the company? • Does the employer take care to protect the health of employees? • Which measures can still be recommended for this work environment?
